This is my story…

I am a career coach with master’s level training in mental health counseling, allowing me to provide a holistic approach to my work with you. My 12+ years in the career development space includes 5+ years as the Sr. Career Advisor at Ivy Exec, an online professional development platform, where I provided job search, resume, and career guidance to 5,000+ clients including college students, MBAs, mid-career professionals, up to C-suite executives — across industries. I also created and delivered original resume and job search webinars sharing my philosophy and tactics on the best approach to career development. Additionally, I served as the Sr. Content Manager, a role in which I developed the voice of and produced content for the company's career advice blog and online classes. I also collaborated with my CEO to write original content for her column on Forbes.com.

In 2022 I was named to LinkedIn’s Top Voices in Job Search & Careers as one of the top 10 thought leaders in US & Canada, recognizing insights and advice provided through the content I produced on the platform. I was also named as a Jobscan Top Follow on LinkedIn in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

I earned my BA in Psychology from Hamilton College and MA & Ed.M. degrees in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. My career began as an HR Analyst at Merrill Lynch and I then served as an Associate Recruiter in executive search at Isaacson, Miller. I ultimately pivoted into the career counseling space during grad school, where I served as a career counselor in the career centers at Baruch College and New York University. I was born in London, raised in NYC, finished high school in Accra, Ghana, and spent my junior year of college abroad in Paris. I am grateful for these experiences because they have shaped me and made me adaptable and open to people and life’s adventures.

I am:

• A husband to an amazing wife and father to two intelligent, strong, beautiful, & incredibly sweet girls aged 11 and 1, who keep me on my toes and represent “my why.”

• A passionate fan of Arsenal FC, watcher of English Premier League football, player of the beautiful game, & a rusty DJ, trying to make a comeback.

• A social justice advocate who uses his voice online and shows up in real life.
